Welcome back folks, I hope that everyone has had a great holiday break and are ready to take Heriot Watt to more victories. Last semester saw Calum Robb become World Champion in his karate field and then take bronze at the world Karate all styles championships. Ladies Football remain the only unbeaten team at HW this year, with mens basketball and Netball doing extremely well too. As we move to the next stages of the conference cups, several teams have qualified for the knockout stages and we hope to win a few medals in this. Varsity did not go exactly to plan this year with Edinburgh Uni winning 4 of the 5 events. Our Rowers did us proud and saved us from a white wash with a comfortable win in what was a really exciting new addition to Varsity. Good luck to everyone this semester. Ross Simpson Su President
