Heriot-Watt Tennis Club has been running for a few years now and last year enjoyed one of our most successful seasons. Courts are located behind the Golf Acadamy, next to carpark C. We have 3 'all-weather' astro-turf courts with floodlights so play happens all year round, you won't find us calling off play due to bad weather! Here the club caters for players of all standards, with national standard coaching available to all members. So if you are looking to compete against other Universities and clubs or just want a bit of social fun to work off the booze from freshers week, Heriot-Watt tennis is the place for you!
The Mens team competes in the BUCS Scottish league and narrowly missed out on promotion last year. However this was made up for by gaining promotion to Division 3 of the East of Scotland Mens league winning all 10 matches! The standard in these leagues in very good, so expect alot of competitive matches!
On the more social side we have coaching for beginners, improvers and for the team, usually running from January onwards (tbc). Coaching is provided by one of the most qualified coaches in the country and costs just £1.55 each week, or free if you are a member of the sports centre so don't miss out!
